PRINTS, POSTAGE AND PACKAGING

We post all Andrew Potter prints rolled in rigid, cardboard tubes. When we ran the St Ives gallery, we did try to post or courier prints glazed and framed but 9 times out of 10, the glass would be shattered or the frame distorted. By posting the prints in the condition they are printed, we can ensure you receive the print in flawless condition and you benefit by being able to choose a mount and frame of your yourself.

We don't charge postage and packaging - it's included in the price quoted for each print. What we do is place the print within a tube then post it, free of charge, first class to any mainland UK address.

We will happily post artwork via recorded/special delivery - or to an international address - at additional cost. Get in touch so we can discuss your request and supply you with a quote and then if you are happy, a special 'payment request' email through PayPal.

ORDERING A PRINT

Hopefully, this should be as easy - if not easier - than ordering a book from Amazon or a DVD from HMV. Basically, we use PayPal to process orders as we feel it is the most simple and cost-effective of all the options (what we lose in a slick, corporate look we gain by doing it all ourselves and avoiding expensive programming and design fees!).

First of all, hover your mouse over the print you're interested in (the border should change colour to a turquoise-blue). Click the image and a new window should appear containing the title, dimensions (width and height, in milimetres) and price of the print along with a bigger preview image. Beneath this basic information should be a button with the text 'Buy Now' in the centre.

Click on the button to open the relevant PayPal page - the connection is secure, verified by veriSign. Next, you'll have the option to either log-in to an existing PayPal account, to set up an account, or to make a one-off payment with any major credit or debit card.

PayPal will automatically email you a receipt when the transaction is complete and we will be notified of your order. Once we are notified that your payment has been successful, we will put your print in the post as soon as possible - we will endeavour to post it the next business day but please allow 28 days for delivery!

Unfortunately, we've not managed to implement a 'shopping basket' feature yet so if you would like to order further artwork, you will have to repeat the process.

PROBLEM? LET US HELP

This site was designed to make the purchase of Andrew's artwork as easy as possible, but if you have any problems do not hesitate to get in touch. Send us an email and we'll either get back to you via email or, if you prefer, we can call you back (leave us a number if you'd rather speak to us in person).

ABOUT US

Who are we? Well, this website is a joint venture between the artist, Andrew Potter, and his son Tom. Commissioned in late 2009, it's designed to provide a virtual 'shop window' for Andrew's prints and original paintings as well as - eventually - a complete archive of his work over the past few years.

The website itself - andrewpotter.net - was designed and is maintained by Tom, while Andrew handles all orders in between painting and sketching. We hope that the site does justice to the many varied pieces of artwork on display here and that it provides a simple, minimal experience for visitors such as yourself.

If you have any problems with the site, a dispute regarding PayPal or simply want to offer us feedback then feel free to get in touch. In the first instance, email us as this way, one of us should be able to reply within 48 hours.

Thank you for visiting the site!
